Since 2022, we've been Lisbon's home for pottery painting: a creative space where you can pick a ceramic piece and paint it your way. What started as a paint-your-own-pottery studio has grown into a welcoming community that now also offers traditional pottery classes and workshops for those wanting to explore clay from scratch.

I'm passionate about the PURACERÂMICA project, a dream I created with the aim of organically and creatively bringing mental health and well-being benefits to everyone, without limitations. In 2022, I brought Lisbon its first studio dedicated to painting on ready-made ceramics. With my daughters' support and encouragement, not a day passes without new ideas, fresh inspiration, and an ever-growing love for the ceramic universe.

From our carefully curated selection of bisque ceramics: mugs, plates, bowls, vases, and more - to the paints, brushes, and techniques we teach, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. As we've grown, we've expanded to include pottery wheel classes and hand-building workshops, creating remains at the heart of what we do. Whether you're here to relax with a brush or get your hands muddy with clay, we're committed to making it a personal experience.

Why Pottery Painting & Ceramics?

Painting ceramics offers something our fast-paced world often lacks: the chance to slow down, focus on your brushstrokes, and watch colors come to life on clay. The process naturally reduces stress and anxiety, often without you even realizing it. There's something meditative about choosing your piece, selecting your colors, and creating something functional and beautiful with your own hands.

Join us for open studio time to paint your own pottery, explore our workshops to learn new techniques, or dive into traditional pottery on our Clayground. No experience needed, just bring curiosity and a willingness to try.

Sustainability

We minimize waste through quality materials, plastic-free packaging, and biodegradable wrapping. Need a box to carry your pieces home? We've got recycled cardboard for that.

Everyone was a beginner once. We create an environment where you feel comfortable trying new things without fear of mistakes. We encourage experimentation, welcome questions, and celebrate progress over perfection.
