About this workshop
Wheel for Two is a private pottery experience designed for two people who want to discover the pottery wheel together.
Your instructor will guide you through the essential steps of wheel throwing, from preparing and centering the clay to shaping your first forms.
No previous pottery experience is required. The small private format gives you plenty of individual support throughout the session.
Techniques you can explore
Your instructor will guide you through the essential steps of wheel throwing. You'll each work at your own wheel and learn the process together.

Opening & pulling
Once the clay is centered, you'll open it and pull up the walls to create the basic cylinder used for many wheel-thrown forms.

Shaping
Guide and shape the walls of the clay to create a bowl, cup, small vase or another simple form.

Everything you need for the two-person wheel session is provided in the studio.

No experience needed
This session is designed for beginners, so you don't need any previous pottery experience.
Come as a pair
This workshop is designed for exactly two participants and the €120 price covers both people.
What to wear
Wheel throwing can get messy, so we recommend comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
Finished pieces
Your selected pieces will stay with us for glazing and firing and are usually ready for collection within 3–4 weeks.
