Clay Social Club is a relaxed supported studio session for people who already have basic handbuilding experience and want dedicated time to work on their own ceramic projects.
There is no fixed project or step-by-step class. You work independently on your own ideas while an experienced ceramicist is available to answer questions, help with construction problems and offer technical guidance when needed.
The session is also a chance to work alongside other makers and studio members in a relaxed community setting.
Your session includes the essentials for working independently in the studio.
Use the handbuilding workspace and studio tools for your own ceramic project.
Up to 1 kg of studio clay is included with each session.
An experienced ceramicist is available for questions, construction problems and short technical guidance when needed.
Firing of one standard-sized ceramic piece made during the session is included.
Clay Social Club is supported independent studio practice rather than a beginner pottery class.
You should already feel comfortable with basic handbuilding techniques and be able to work independently with clay.
Come with an idea or an ongoing ceramic project that you would like to develop during the session.
The session includes up to 1 kg of clay and firing of one standard-sized piece. Additional clay or firing is charged separately.
